As a Financial Analyst, you will combine excellent knowledge of accounting and finance principles with a proven capacity for building, managing, and analysing financial reports and forecast tools. You will also need to be comfortable interacting with management across the organisation.

You will be part of the Group Reporting team and will be responsible for assisting in building financial models, being involved in monthly financial closing reviews, providing finance support, driving processes, and reporting improvement throughout the organisation.

In this role, you will :

• Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support;
• Assist in producing monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance analysis;
• Support the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes;
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organisation;
• Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives;
• Assist in managing the Group reporting processes, including long-term financial and cash flow forecasts, monthly / quarterly business reviews, weekly metrics, and forecast updates;
• Support the analysis of business opportunities and investments;
• Participate as a key finance stakeholder in cross-functional teams and promote the replication and adoption of best practices throughout the organisation;
• Lead project steps within a broader project and have accountability for ongoing activities and objectives;
• Perform ad-hoc analysis as required.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / ICAEW); and / or Bachelor’s / Master’s in Finance;
• 3 – 5 years of work experience with at least recent 1-2 years focused on forecasting, planning, financial management reporting and / or commercial finance;
• Big 4 experience preferred;
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and finance principles, along with understanding of financial statements and drivers that influence the P&L;
• Demonstrated financial analysis and modeling skills;
• Strong business acumen, attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
• Exceptional Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills;
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work;
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented with a high level of intellectual curiosity;
• Self-driven, proactive individual with the motivation to grow and excel in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment;
• Hands-on attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
• Proven ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment;
