Our goal is to delight customers and entice them back with the promise of exceptional pieces that excite – all at up to 80% off the original retail price for fashion designer brands. Our unique “Treasure Hunt” model ensures there is always something new to explore, desire and discover within our stores. Our customers walk out with new items every time they visit any of our stores.

Role Purpose:

This role involves facilitating the seamless integration of new employees into the organization, ensuring they have a positive onboarding experience, and upholding the company's culture and values.

The goal is to attract, retain and motivate high quality employees while reducing turnover and enhancing our company’s profile as a Great Place to Work. And to develop a fair and equitable compensation and benefits package that suits and is aligned with the company’s strategy and business goals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive orientations for new employees, familiarizing them with company policies, procedures, and culture.
  • Collect and verify all necessary documentation from new hires, ensuring compliance with visa and work permit requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Government Relations department to facilitate the smooth and timely processing of visas and work permits. Store the collected documents in a shared location for cross-functional teams to access when needed.
  • Collaborate with the People Services team to ensure the efficient enrollment of new joiners into the company's Oracle system.
  • Work closely with the IT department to coordinate the provisioning of necessary IT assets, including computers, software, and email accounts for new employees, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Liaise with the company's travel desk to arrange relocation flights and hotel bookings for employees relocating to join the company, ensuring a smooth transition and comfortable settlement into their new work location.
  • Maintain accurate records of all onboarding activities and documentation.
  • Provide hiring managers regular and detailed weekly updates on the status and progress of new employee onboarding.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR, with a focus on onboarding and orientation.
  • Familiarity with UAE labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
