Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the performance and operations of multiple ANTA retail stores in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, ensuring each store meets sales targets and provides an outstanding customer experience.
- Lead, mentor, and support Store Managers and their teams, fostering a high-performance culture and maintaining high morale across all store staff.
- Monitor key retail metrics (sales revenue, footfall, conversion rate, average transaction value, etc.) for each store, analyze performance trends, and develop action plans to drive improvement where needed.
- Ensure consistent execution of ANTA's brand standards in visual merchandising, store layout, and service quality across all locations.
- Coordinate and execute new store opening plans, including recruitment of store staff, training (in partnership with the Retail Trainer), store setup, and grand opening marketing activities.
- Identify operational challenges or opportunities across stores (such as inventory management, loss prevention, or process inefficiencies) and implement solutions to improve overall operational efficiency and profitability.
- Serve as the communication bridge between the store teams and the regional/head office, providing regular updates on store performance, market feedback, and any issues, while also cascading company directives and initiatives to store teams.
- Work closely with merchandising and supply chain teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and product assortment in each store, aligned with sales trends and local consumer demand.
- Ensure compliance in all stores with company policies, procedures, and UAE local regulations, maintaining a safe and positive work environment for employees and customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management or a related field.
- 5+ years of retail management experience, including experience overseeing multiple store locations as an Area Manager, District Manager, or similar level.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and operational excellence in a retail environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills; capable of inspiring teams and developing talent across diverse groups of employees.
- Solid understanding of retail KPIs and hands-on experience using data analysis to guide decision-making and improvements.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills to handle multi-store oversight and new store launch projects.
- Fluency in English with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly adaptable, results-driven, and hands-on approach able to thrive in a startup environment by building processes from the ground up and rolling up your sleeves when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience opening new retail stores or launching a retail brand in a new market.
- Familiarity with the UAE/GCC retail landscape and consumer behaviors.
- Proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
- Passion for sports and an understanding of athletic apparel/footwear retail trends.
