Position Objectives
- Lead the strategic oversight and successful delivery of facility management projects within a Smart City and Public Safety program.
- Manage and follow-up all Transmission activities and projects in the Facility Administration Department (DWDM, SDH Rings, MS-SDH, MPLS(NCS, CRS), IGW Connectivity, 4G Backhaul Mobile and Fixed Transmission networks, CWO, TFR)
- ensuring alignment with organizational goals and public safety standards.
- Drive financial efficiency, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across a portfolio of projects to enhance smart infrastructure and community safety.
- Foster collaboration with stakeholders to integrate innovative technologies and best practices, supporting the development of intelligent urban ecosystems.
Job Description and Responsibilities
Projects Oversight:
- Oversee the performance of all facility management projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards within the Smart City and Public Safety program.
- Conduct regular reviews of deliverables, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to maintain project integrity.
- Provide strategic direction to project teams, ensuring optimal outcomes and alignment with smart city objectives.
Financial and Resource Management:
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to ensure financial efficiency across the project portfolio.
- Optimize resource allocation, including transmission infrastructure, to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Ensure comprehensive risk assessments are conducted and mitigation plans are executed, prioritizing public safety.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and smart city protocols, including telecommunications and transmission systems.
Continuous Improvement:
- Promote innovative project management practices, integrating advanced transmission technologies (e.g., DWDM, MPLS) and smart city solutions to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in a high-level leadership role managing large departments.
- Extensive experience in facility management and transmission projects (e.g., DWDM, SDH, MPLS, 4G Backhaul) within smart city or public safety initiatives.
- Formal training in project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2) is highly advantageous.
- Strong portfolio and project planning expertise, with a focus on smart city infrastructure.
- Advanced knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and transmission network technologies (e.g., SDH Rings, IGW Connectivity).
- Proficiency in managing telecommunications infrastructure, including MPLS and 4G/5G backhaul systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on risk management in public safety contexts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, adept at collaborating with smart city vendors and public safety agencies.
