Roles & Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing the implementation of all activities in the supply chain operations – including procurement of materials, inventory management, warehousing, and customer services in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be a strategic manager with proven experience in optimizing the supply chain performance, building team capabilities, driving cost efficiencies, sourcing strategies and building strong supplier relationships.

Coordinate the implementation of procurement works of materials that consist of:

• Create the plan of material procurement for the year.
• Create a plan of 3 or 6 monthly basis on the major material procurement to the appointed suppliers as per company’s needs.
• Sign and evaluate the P.O. prepared by the Purchasing Administration.
• Conduct bidding and negotiation for local materials and some imported materials.
• Conduct selection, audit, and performance review of the Suppliers.
• Perform the procurement works as in accordance with the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 requirements and the agreed KPI.

Control the implementation of planning, inventory and warehousing functions:

• Control and coordinate the cover-up materials making based on Sales forecast & the monthly production planning, and ensure the availability of raw materials and finish goods as per production and customer demand needs.
• Control and coordinate the stock level of existing raw materials & finish goods in order to conform to the planned level.
• Control and coordinate the process of finish good warehousing and loading-unloading activities in order to conform to the schedule and procedures specified.

Control the implementation of customer service functions:

• Control and coordinate the receipt of orders and delivery schedule settings.
• Control and coordinate the production processes related to the delivery schedule agreed upon with the Customer
• Control and coordinate the delivery schedule with the Export people in order the documents and departed & arrival schedule of the vessel are in accordance with the agreement with Customers.
• Control and coordinate customer complaints and ensure the complaints followed up to the QC and Production.

Coordinate with Global Procurement Manager in regards with the quota of raw materials, prices and specs evaluation performance materials & raw materials.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistic, business, or a related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• At least 8 years work experience in supply chain management in the manufacturing industry.
• Deep knowledge and exposure to end to end supply chain operation; demand planning and forecasting, inventory optimization, export import process and compliances, procurement and customer service.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement principles, with experience implementing process optimization initiatives to streamline operations and reduce waste
• Strong Leadership and result oriented; Delivers results under first-time conditions or tough circumstance
• Proactive communicator and people connector
• Thinking Agility - Comfortable with new and complex issues. Get to the heart of the matter quickly
• Likes to entertain new ideas, pilot them and put them into practice. Deal well with pressure and change and teamplayer
• Fluent in English; communication and writting
