Job description

We're supporting a fast-growing, business setup consultancy in their search for a Finance Manager to join their founding team in Dubai. This is a standalone role, ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a startup environment and is excited about building a department from the ground up.

As the first finance hire, you'll be responsible for establishing and leading all finance operations from designing financial systems and processes to driving compliance, forecasting, and strategic planning. You'll work closely with the COO and leadership team to ensure financial discipline, support growth, and enable strong decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage end-to-end finance operations
• Design and implement financial processes, systems, and controls
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Manage compliance, audits, VAT, payroll, and tax matters
• Support strategic planning and provide insights to senior leadership
• Ensure alignment with accounting standards (IFRS)

What We're Looking For:

• 8+ years of experience in a senior finance role
• Strong track record of running a finance department independently
• Qualified accountant ACCA / CA / CPA
• Strategic thinker with excellent hands-on execution skills
• Highly self-motivated, autonomous, and adaptable
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Industry experience is open; startup experience is a plus
