Cards Product Manager

The Cards Product Manager is an intermediate-level position responsible for developing and executing product plans, strategies, and tactics in coordination with the Product Management team. The overall objective is to promote products to increase market share and revenue while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate product risk assessment, governance, and compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Conduct client, market, and competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities, shaping new product developments and enhancements.
  • Implement client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to establish preferred status as a partner to Citi clients.
  • Contribute to day-to-day product management, including program delivery, client experience, process enhancement, client communications, and managing product collateral across physical and digital assets.
  • Analyze client feedback through customer research, complaints, and Net Promoter Score (NPS) to develop and execute action plans that enhance the overall client experience.
  • Liaise with and manage external partners to enhance customer value proposition and drive increased cards acquisition and usage, while optimizing expenses.
  • Deploy profitable marketing strategies, implement key growth initiatives, and maintain current market intelligence on industry verticals and competitors.
  • Partner with Marketing Product Managers to monitor product and marketing programs, roadmaps, developments, and launches to maximize benefits and deliver on client value propositions.
  • Apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently.
Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of professional experience, preferably in banking, finance, or cards.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify alternative courses of action and understand trade-offs.
  • Structured problem-solving skills utilizing complex data from multiple sources.
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with internal and external partners to deliver client solutions.
  • Proven product, program management, and marketing experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience.
