Job description

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in various topics including developing procedures, improved design recommendations, or new equipment purchase suggestions.
  2. Control the main power systems supplying site manufacturing buildings and offices, including distribution circuits to each area.
  3. Manage the site’s high voltage and low voltage network capacity and maintenance.
  4. Schedule and execute maintenance strategies for electrical supply equipment (predictive and preventive).
  5. Evaluate and authorize maintenance and contractors for onsite work.
  6. Act as the site’s authorized person for managing electrical equipment in flammable areas.
  7. Support the safe operation of the site as part of the engineering team, including advising maintenance teams on power system needs and issuing safety permits for electrical work.
  8. Develop and lead reliability programs and strategies on a site-wide scale.
  9. Understand Instrument and Electrical Mechanical Integrity Systems as applicable to the Chemical Industry.
  10. Participate in mentoring and personnel development supporting the Reliability group.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s / Diploma in Electrical and Instrumentation or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation within the oil & gas sector.
  • Mandatory ADNOC project experience.
  • Ability to manage resource allocation for the EC&I Engineering function efficiently.
  • Support project objectives by managing resources and providing project support.
  • Responsible for liaising with internal work teams, facilitating meetings, and managing policy updates.
