Job description

  • Implement inventory control measures, conducting regular audits to maintain accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and streamline processes.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor equipment and machinery performance, scheduling maintenance to prevent downtime.
  • Analyze performance metrics and prepare reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to align warehouse operations with business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety training for staff.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations or supervisory roles within a fast-paced environment.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
