Manager Quality and Excellence Programs
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai is seeking a Manager to lead the implementation and administration of Excellence Criteria and promote continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This role is pivotal in driving quality, excellence, and award-winning performance aligned with the Dubai Government Excellence Program (DGEP) standards.

Job Overview
The Manager Quality and Excellence Programs will manage excellence assessments, nominations for DGEP awards, and performance improvement initiatives. The role involves training internal assessors, coordinating self-assessments, and supporting continuous improvement through feedback and analysis to elevate RTA s organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to annual budget planning, monitoring, and recommending adjustments based on project needs
- Promote excellence awareness and foster a culture of continual improvement across RTA
- Conduct orientation programs for new employees, clarifying roles and job expectations
- Study, coordinate, and manage the implementation of Excellence Criteria according to DGEP Radar System requirements
- Plan, organize, and schedule excellence self-assessments, including training and nomination of internal assessors
- Provide management with feedback on DGEP nominations and assessments for system improvements
- Ensure employee, project, and team participation in DGEP yearly awards, managing nomination preparation, training, and rehearsals
- Monitor improvement actions and assess their effectiveness across various initiatives
- Assist and participate in cross-functional improvement teams and recommend solutions
- Perform other related responsibilities as assigned by supervisors to achieve department objectives
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Master s Degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering from a recognized university
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a large service organization
Skills:
- Extensive experience with international excellence programs and DGEP
- Strong leadership and motivation skills
- Exemplary planning, organizational, and project management abilities
- High-level analytical thinking with a focus on process improvement
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in multiple software applications
