A leading company in the UAE is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join their team. The role involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in Waste Water Treatment Plants. Candidates should have strong electrical skills, problem-solving abilities, and relevant experience. A diploma in Electrical Engineering is required, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the field. A UAE driving license is a plus.

Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Industrial Electrician / Electrical helper for cable tray installation, cable pulling, armoured cable glanding, and termination.
• Work according to the drawing, sketch, or sample provided by the Electrical Engineer or Supervisor.
• Report any required or preventative maintenance to the Supervisor.
• Report any required materials before exhaustion.
• Assist other team members when needed.
• Maintain a clean working area.
• Take care of all equipment and tools.
• Reduce wastage and scrap.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical installation works.
• Ability to solve problems and repair equipment on site.
• Ability to assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Working experience in UAE and other GCC/North African regions.
• UAE driving license is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical or ITI related certification.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in Waste Water Treatment Plants and Equipment Manufacturing.
• Experience in control panel wiring, electrical installation, testing, and commissioning.
