Job Description

The Cluster Groups, Meetings & Events Supervisor is responsible for managing group bookings, meetings, and events at the cluster hotel. They serve as the main point of contact between clients and the hotel's operational and commercial departments, ensuring the client's needs are met and the hotel’s goals are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Receive and coordinate groups, meetings, and events, maintaining up-to-date records.
  2. Draft and finalize contracts for groups and events.
  3. Manage rooming lists, update payment instructions, and record relevant information.
  4. Negotiate budgets with clients.
  5. Create detailed work orders for events.
  6. Conduct briefings with clients regarding event details, including capacity, pricing, and special notes.
  7. Prepare monthly reports and closeout documentation for groups.
  8. Collaborate with Account Managers, Sales, Reservations, Front Desk, and Kitchen teams.
  9. Engage directly with guests during events and stays.
  10. Participate in special activities such as cocktail receptions and welcome tours.
  11. Respond promptly and efficiently to client requests.
Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates should:

  • Hold a degree in Management, Hospitality, or Marketing.
  • Have prior experience in coordinating groups, conferences, or events, preferably in hospitality.
  • Be capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Possess problem-solving skills and strong organizational abilities.
  • Have proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Be proactive in meeting deadlines and achieving objectives.
