Job Description
- Identify new local, regional, and multinational prospects through cold calling or other lead generation channels, gather customer information, and offer Venue solutions provided by TECOM to achieve sales targets.
- Research current market trends proactively and recommend sales strategies.
- Build relationships within targeted companies, including decision-makers, influencers, and key stakeholders.
- Prospect leads by networking and researching within the hospitality and events venues market. Qualify each lead through communication via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Prepare proposals for conferences, corporate gatherings, launches, gala dinners, concerts, and press conferences. Contribute actively to the success of these events.
- Prepare quotes and proposals, track contracts, secure deposits, finalize client payments, and ensure accounts receivable are within predefined guidelines.
- Plan, prepare, and monitor annual budgets for events to ensure adherence to revenue and cost targets.
- Promote TECOM events venues and handle venue inquiries and bookings, including indoor and outdoor promotional advertising solutions.
- Maintain positive client relations, manage customer complaints, and respond to inquiries received through walk-ins, emails, and calls. Present comprehensive product knowledge to potential customers.
- Provide advisory services regarding relevant approvals and permits for events, marketing, security, etc., and ensure effective communication within the department for smooth event management.
- Liaise with suppliers to organize catering and security services for corporate and private events.
- Coordinate with the finance department for invoicing and receipt issuance.
- Prepare reports and track key performance indicators such as event status, sales activities, occupancy, sales pipeline, and post-project briefs for management decision-making.
- Maintain knowledge of departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
- Manage the end-to-end process for all external (paid) clients and internal (TECOM barter/sponsorship deals).
- Coordinate with the corporate marketing and communications team to ensure event details are updated on TECOM digital channels.
- Update and track venue bookings and calendar schedules.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of company products and pricing structures.
- Oversee the dismantling and removal of events, ensuring all post-event guidelines are followed.
