Job Title : Information Technology Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and service management of the computer room within the jurisdiction, balancing service quality, efficiency, cost, and safety in accordance with IDC conditions, and continuously optimizing processes to support departmental business operations.
• Respond to and manage Alibaba IDC risk events and emergency faults, ensuring controllable operation risks such as IDC changes and faults.
• Establish efficient cooperative relations with local government departments and fulfill compliance operation requirements assigned by them.
• Provide on-site technical support for business equipment, understand business needs and network structures, and facilitate the implementation of operational projects between teams.
• Manage talent development, capacity building, risk control, team culture, and oversee on-site operation and maintenance teams within IDC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Over 3 years of experience leading large data center operations (>

10MW) with a management team of more than 15 people.

• Deep knowledge of Data Center IT operations.
• Functional knowledge of cloud technologies, architectures, IT service delivery principles, and best practices.
• Highly driven, self-managed, with strong problem analysis and critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of data center construction procedures.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (25% to 50%+ at times).
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in Chinese, as coordination with HQ in China is required.
