Job description

Sales Manager - India Region - White Goods

Our client, a multinational manufacturing appliances company, is seeking a Sales Manager for the India Region. The successful candidate will report directly to the Marketing Director – MEIA.

Role & Responsibilities:
  1. Achieve annual sales and profit targets.
  2. Forecast and follow through to meet sales targets and market share goals.
  3. Oversee logistics and product shipments to ensure optimal stock levels.
  4. Identify the best route-to-market strategy for India.
  5. Manage distributors and business partners to deliver on KPIs.
  6. Apply trade marketing concepts and tools to maximize brand presence in trade channels.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
  • At least 6 years of sales management experience, including a minimum of 3 years in the Indian market, preferably in household appliances.
  • Experience in managing distributors.
  • High energy, with the ability and spirit to deliver on stretched targets and think creatively.
  • Good understanding of the Indian market landscape.
  • Credibility and trustworthiness.
  • Ability to manage distributors effectively.
  • Result-oriented with a structured approach to achieving goals.
  • Experience in brand management, FMCG, or trade marketing is a plus.

This is a mid-management position focused on sales and business development. The candidate should have at least 6 years of relevant experience.

The position is initially stationed in Dubai, with a high likelihood of relocating to India after finalizing the business strategy.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Gross Package: 30,000 AED/month
  • Other benefits are fully negotiable.
