About The Organization

Kreol Group is a fast-scaling, multi-category consumer-goods distribution house supplying global, regional and in-house brands to Travel Retail, Modern Trade and E-commerce channels across the GCC, Indian Sub-continent and Africa. From airport duty-free chocolate to supplying hypermarkets with our innerwear clothing brands to selling mass-market perfume online, we manage the full value chain: procurement, pricing, trade-marketing, omnichannel sales, 3PL logistics and after-sales and use Odoo as our ERP.

About The Role

We are seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst who can turn thousands of rows of sell-in, sell-out and cost data into margin-expanding decisions. Your mandate: expose profit leaks, validate trade-spend, optimise pricing architecture, and fill the reporting and analytics gaps for every manager from the warehouse floor to the boardroom. There will be a product-wise commercial focus, but also analysis of regular financial reports. You will report to the Executive Director and essentially be the go-to guy for any data related research questions.

What You'll Do

Revenue & Pricing Analytics

  • Build price-pack architecture (PPA) dashboards to balance channel price ladders vs competitors.
  • Model elasticity curves and recommend price moves or promo mechanics by SKU & customer.
  • Maintain a net-net price waterfall showing list ? rebate ? discount ? landed margin.

Trade Spend & Promotion ROI

  • Reconcile planned vs actual promo spend; match debit notes to approved mechanics.
  • Rank promotions by ROI, cannibalisation, spill-over and incremental volume.
  • Monitor trade-spend budget vs forecast; flag overspend early to Sales & Travel-Retail teams.

Customer / Channel Profitability

  • Produce monthly gross-to-net P&L by customer, territory and channel (Travel Retail, Modern Trade, E-com).
  • Integrate cost-to-serve (freight, warehousing, credit terms, listing & display fees) into contribution margin.
  • Create scorecards that link DSO impact to true customer profitability.

SKU / Category Economics

  • Build ABC/XYZ + velocity matrices; advise Category on delist, innovate, or defend decisions.
  • Quantify expiry & write-off risk; recommend markdown timing or return agreements.
  • Evaluate new launches with post-launch P&L vs business case.

Supply-Chain & Inventory Analytics

  • Partner with Ops to analyse landed-cost variance (freight, duty, demurrage).
  • Track stock-ageing, OTIF and pick-pack efficiency; link to working-capital KPIs.
  • Recommend safety-stock and MOQ tweaks to release cash.

Financial Planning & Reporting

  • Support FP&A on rolling forecast, scenario modelling and board decks.
  • Maintain commercial input drivers (pricing, promo, mix) in the master P&L model.
  • Produce weekly Flash Margin and Month-End Commentary for leadership.

Odoo ERP & Data Stewardship

  • Regularly extract and analyze data from all Odoo modules.
  • Work to improve data accuracy, landed-cost splits, GRNI and master-data discipline.

Process & Compliance Insight

  • Publish KPI scorecards on invoice cycle-time, bank-recon ageing, GRNI, and physical-file turnaround.
  • Support audit prep by validating promo accruals, rebate provisions and landed-cost allocations.

Cross-Functional Stuff

  • Present insights to Sales, Category, Procurement, HR (productivity per head) and Execs.
  • Challenge managers diplomatically, backed by numbers, and push corrective actions.
  • Design and maintain productivity scorecards in Odoo, invoice cycle-time, pick-pack rates, OTIF, GRNI ageing, and spearhead weekly review huddles with Warehouse, Sales Ops and Finance to close gaps.
Who You Should Be
  • 35 years analytics experience in an FMCG distributor or manufacturer; exposure to Travel Retail or Modern Trade a plus.
  • Proven track-record delivering promo ROI, price-pack architecture, or customer contribution analyses.
  • Hands-on with Odoo
  • Elite Excel (index-match, Power Pivot, VBA a bonus).
  • Experience playing with LLMs like ChatGPT o3
  • Strong grasp of landed-cost, freight/duty allocation, VAT and inventory valuation.
  • Comfortable bridging Finance & Salescan translate insights into commercial actions.
  • Able to work on-site in Dubai Investments Park 2
  • Able to present to managers what needs to be done differently
