Job description

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying the quality and quantity of goods against purchase orders to maintain accuracy.
• Ensure accurate documentation of stock levels (e.g., stock registers, inventory management).
• Prepare and process orders for outgoing shipments, coordinating with various departments to meet delivery schedules.
• Manage inventory by tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, and ensuring timely replenishment to avoid shortages.
• Conduct regular stock audits and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to forecast inventory needs
• Organize and store goods in designated areas to ensure easy access and proper handling.
• Ensure proper labeling and categorization of items.
• Accept and record all delivered packages.
• Implement safety and cleanliness protocols in the storage area to comply with health regulations and prevent workplace hazards.
• Assist in training new staff members on inventory management systems and best practices for stock handling.
• Generate regular reports on inventory status, including slow-moving items and potential stock discrepancies for management review.
