Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Service Engineer specializing in engines (main engine, auxiliary engine).

1. Provide technical services to customers and ensure their satisfaction.
2. Deliver services effectively and punctually.
3. Explain new features and suggest upgrades to customers.
4. Provide clear customer feedback.
5. Lead or assist in repairing or troubleshooting issues.
6. Perform engine overhauls for 2-stroke & 4-stroke units and other components like Alpha lubricators, pneumatics, etc.
7. Follow all data according to manuals accurately.
8. Conduct calibrations and prepare reports for ship staff.
9. Oversee job completion and sea trials.
10. Prepare and submit work completion reports.
11. Submit quotations for engine jobs, process quotations and orders.
12. Coordinate teams for repairs or troubleshooting.
13. Respond promptly and accurately to client queries.
14. Build strong client relationships through regular communication.
15. Follow up on all order processes with headquarters, local workshops, and customers.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience with main and auxiliary engines.
• Experience with Hyundai engines.
• Deep knowledge of HiMSEN engines, MAN, and Wartsila main engines.
• Ability to lead a team and work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willing to participate in sea trials and work overseas.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with electronically controlled engines (ME type, DF engine).

Salary: Negotiable based on experience and skills.

Contract Renewal: Annually, with salary adjustments.
