Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in payments, BFSI, travel tech, e-commerce, or remittances.

Job description

The Product Owner will work closely with Development teams, Internal Departments, and Business Functions to identify and design solutions for the product backlog.

As our Product Owner, your responsibilities will include:

1. Liaising with multiple departments for product discussions
2. Solution designing
3. Product backlog planning
4. Recommending process improvements
5. Achieving KPIs for requirements quality

Prior experience in a similar capacity with a high-risk payment gateway is a critical requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather, validate, and prioritize business requirements for solutioning.
• Translate complex customer and regulatory needs into structured business and functional requirements.
• Liaise with multiple stakeholders for requirements elicitation for solutioning.
• Help customers identify their needs and structure requirements accordingly.
• Incorporate industry, business-specific, and high-risk payment gateway requirements into concepts and prepare business requirements for technical implementation.
• Ensure a seamless onboarding process for merchants and address issues in merchant services.
• Utilize and enhance internal tools and applications.
• Understand the product vision and roadmap, converting the roadmap into the team’s backlog with epics, features, and user stories.
• Identify areas for process improvements and technical debt.
• Maintain the JIRA board aligned with Scrum teams and sprints.
• Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives.
• Engage with development teams for daily activities.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing to ensure requirements are met.
• Prepare process flows and description documents.
• Stay updated with industry trends, especially in high-risk payments.

Requirements

• Are self-structured, motivated, and solution-oriented.
• Can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Possess understanding of business strategy, UX design, and technology.
• Have significant experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
