Job Description:

The successful candidate will be required to perform the following minimum responsibilities:

  1. Provide professional support to ensure all activities on board comply strictly with Saudi Aramco HSE standards.
  2. Offer expertise on all HSE-related matters on vessels, aligned with maritime international and company standards.
  3. Ensure effective implementation of life-saving rules.
  4. Liaise with all stakeholders on board regarding HSE matters.
  5. Support vessel management and workforce in HSE risk assessments and job safety analysis.
  6. Deliver HSE training sessions.
  7. Participate in accident/incident investigations.
  8. Coordinate activities of HSE officers.
  9. Perform safety compliance inspections at job sites, including hazard analyses and safe work procedures, and prepare reports and recommendations.
  10. Evaluate the effectiveness of hazard control systems, policies, and procedures, recommending improvements to prevent workplace incidents and injuries.
  11. Review injury, property damage, and loss data; collaborate with management to implement corrective actions.
  12. Maintain and ensure ongoing compliance with the Safety Management System (SMS) in line with corporate standards.
Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Occupational Safety, or Process Safety.

Professional Certifications:
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate (Level-3)
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • ISO 45001:2019 Lead Auditor
  • OHS Level-6 Qualification (e.g., NVQ, OTHAM, IDSE, QUALIFI, ProQual, or equivalent)
  • NEBOSH Process Safety Management
Professional Memberships:
  • Member (any level) of organizations such as:
  • IIRSM (International Institute of Risk and Safety Management)
  • IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety & Health)
  • CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
  • BRSP (Board of Registered Safety Professionals)
  • Chartered Member of IOSH (CM-IOSH)
Experience:
