Job PurposeThe Organizational Design Lead will play a critical role in shaping the organization's structure to optimize workforce efficiency and alignment with strategic objectives. The role will lead initiatives that focus on enhancing organizational design, improving workflows, and driving business excellence across all functions. This position will be integral to enabling the company's growth, change management efforts, and long-term organizational sustainability.
Job ResponsibilitiesOrganizational Design Strategy:
- Develop and implement organizational design strategies that align with the HR business excellence goals.
- Lead the analysis of the current organizational structure and identify opportunities to improve alignment, efficiency, and scalability.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure the design supports business objectives, agility, and workforce optimization.
Workforce Planning and Structural Design:
- Conduct comprehensive job analysis and workforce planning to ensure optimal role alignment across the organization.
- Propose and implement structural changes that reflect the evolving needs of the business and ensure future scalability.
- Partner with the HR team and department heads to map out workforce needs, addressing skill gaps, role clarity, and talent deployment.
- Change Management and Organizational Transformation:
- Lead change management initiatives related to organizational design, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption.
- Work closely with the Head of HR Business Excellence and other key stakeholders to execute business transformation projects.
- Design and implement communication strategies to engage employees and stakeholders during restructuring processes.
Job Architecture and Role Definition:
- Collaborate with Total Rewards Manager in the creation and refinement of job families, role definitions, and job grading systems to reflect current and future business needs.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate job descriptions are in place and aligned with organizational design objectives.
Performance and Metrics:
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of organizational design initiatives.
- Continuously monitor organizational efficiency and performance, recommending ongoing improvements based on data insights.
- Ensure alignment between workforce capabilities, job roles, and business objectives by conducting regular evaluations and adjustments.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior leaders, department heads, and cross-functional teams to align organizational design efforts with overall business strategy.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on matters related to workforce structure, talent optimization, and organizational effectiveness.
- Build strong relationships across the business to promote understanding and buy-in for organizational changes.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage organizational design projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
- Coordinate with the HR team, business units, and external consultants as necessary to ensure seamless implementation of organizational changes.
- Ensure all organizational design efforts are documented and aligned with the HR business excellence strategy.
Job RequirementsQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Master's degree or relevant certifications in Organizational Design, HR, or Business Excellence (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, or other relevant qualifications) is a plus.
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in organizational design, HR business excellence, workforce planning, or related roles.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale organizational design and restructuring projects.
- Experience in working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive organizational transformation.
