We are seeking an Area Manager to join our dynamic Fulfillment Center. Our Fulfillment Centers are at the heart of Amazon's rapidly growing Operations network: they manage our fast-moving inventory and develop our industry-leading workflows. Our teams handle deliveries, pick products, package them, and ship them out, playing vital roles in our success.

About the role and responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible as a manager for one of the main teams in your FC: receive, stow, pick, pack, or ship.
  • Along with your peers, ensure all workflows run smoothly and customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Lead a team of approximately 80 to 120 associates, driving training, integration, motivation, and performance.
  • Exercise sound judgment to meet progress and KPI targets.
  • Safeguard team safety by promoting Amazon’s Health and Safety standards.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to solve operational problems.
  • Uphold high standards of process quality.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Strive to improve and streamline processes.
  • Become a subject matter expert on FC processes and activities.
  • Share and promote best practices within your team and network.
