Job Description
  1. Greet guests as they enter, and put them on a waiting list as necessary.
  2. Provide guests with menus and answer any initial questions.
  3. Seat guests at tables or in waiting areas.
  4. Assign guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers.
  5. Engage with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service.
  6. Respond to complaints and help resolve them.
  7. Answer phone calls, take reservations, and answer questions.
  8. Have knowledge of the menu.
  9. Assist with other positions in the restaurant as needed.
  10. Provide excellent customer service.
