A Snapshot of Your Day:
Drive and enhance Samsung online sales growth through Samsung.com across the MENA region. As part of the MENA Office D2C team, you'll be central to maximizing customer experience, brand presence, and sales across online channels. We seek a Senior Strategy Manager experienced in managing and developing D2C eCommerce platforms, responsible for creating channel, country, and region-specific plans to improve the end-to-end experience and performance of Samsung.com. You will also support building customer-centric sellout enablers, value propositions, and assist the D2C Head with overall business development.
How You Will Make An Impact:
- Collaborate with the D2C Team and regional D2C Head to develop strategies focusing on sales expansion and customer experience improvements, emphasizing category development, premium experiences, customer loyalty, and retention.
- Align global strategies, regional plans, and local subsidiary operations to meet deadlines for strategic initiatives.
- Lead new projects (including fintech, channel optimization, CX, UX, sellout platforms) aimed at D2C sales growth.
- Optimize sales performance on eStores by working with Key Account Management, Sales, Site Merchandising, Product Marketing, and technical teams.
- Share best practices from regional and global insights and work with cross-functional teams to implement innovative initiatives.
- Guide subsidiaries' D2C and project teams, ensuring timely execution and adherence to quality and brand standards.
- Continuously analyze Samsung's performance and market environment to develop new strategies for future success using internal and external data.
- Lead regional and market-level performance analysis to derive strategies and action plans to increase sales, resolve operational issues, and improve customer experience.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for senior management, advising on strategic directions.
- Identify opportunities and risks for Samsung within D2C environments compared to competitors.
- Act as an effective team member, building consensus among stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Support markets in building infrastructure and frameworks to drive D2C sales and strategic projects.
- Assist subsidiaries with promotion and sales planning, and coordinate regional events across markets.
- Manage relationships with Suwon counterparts, sharing best practices to improve market execution.
What You'll Need:
- 12 years of relevant experience in a fast-growing eCommerce environment.
- Deep understanding of D2C sales cycles and customer behavior in the MENA region.
- Comprehensive knowledge of eCommerce operations, including sales, supply chain, P&L, digital marketing, payments, analytics, and customer experience.
- Proven experience in eCommerce sales and project management, with insight into trends, competition, and digital customer experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues and opportunities, evaluating options, and recommending strategic plans.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrix environment, being flexible and open-minded.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across different levels and geographies.
- Strong analytical, technical, and commercial skills.
- Experience in designing and analyzing research, both primary and secondary.
- Strategic thinking with a sense of ownership and involvement in business details.
- Proficiency in creating clear presentations for C-Level audiences.
