Job Purpose

To manage and control the Air Arabia “Line Stores” inventory and daily activities, including receipt, storage, and release of all tools, equipment, and spare parts used for maintenance of Air Arabia and Third Party aircraft.

Ensures all activities are carried out and recorded in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Key Result Responsibilities
  • Maintain the “line store” stock levels for daily demanded items and routine jobs, including toolboxes, kits, wheels, batteries, oils, etc.
  • Ensure all items and components are available on time to execute maintenance tasks and secure aircraft availability and safety.
  • Conduct daily checks in storage areas to maintain correct storage conditions, safety, and health standards.
  • Allocate tools and parts as per instructions from Technical Procurement and Stores Supervisor; coordinate replacement of consumables and update systems.
  • Pre-load system requirements for ADD/MDD for timely retrieval.
  • Issue daily toolboxes, kits, spare parts, and components based on maintenance plans.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are serviceable; advise the Rotables Team of unserviceable items.
  • Update and review the RAL system to monitor all activities, considering material shelf life, calibration, and critical movements.
  • Credit back unused parts to stock and return to main stores per procedures.
  • Support the Stores Supervisor in safety, facilities, cleanliness, and overall store performance.
  • Provide ad-hoc inventory support for Air Arabia and Third Party aircraft.
  • Prepare stock reports regularly; identify and address system errors.
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)
  • Diploma or certificate in a related field; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Proficient in technology systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • UAE Driving License.
Work Experience
  • Ability to work rotating shifts.
  • 1-2 years in a similar role in the aviation industry; experience with low-cost airlines is a plus.
  • Experience with inventory software is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of GCAA regulations related to aircraft spare parts.
  • Completion of IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations training is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and resource skills.
  • Dependable, proactive, and energetic.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and lift heavy equipment.
