KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategic Advisory
- Act as a trusted advisor to Senior Management on economic matters, trends, and policy implications.
- Provide forward-looking insights to support strategic priorities, including Dubai’s D33 agenda and international expansion.
- Contribute to shaping economic narratives and positioning Dubai as a global business hub.
Economic Research & Analysis
- Conduct in-depth research on global and regional economic trends, trade flows, and sector developments.
- Develop economic reports, briefs, and dashboards to support executive decision-making.
- Analyze the impact of economic policies, regulations, and global shifts on Dubai’s competitiveness.
Policy & Stakeholder Engagement
- Support the development of policy recommendations in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage with government entities, international partners, and research institutions on economic topics.
- Contribute to consultations, forums, and economic working groups.
Market Intelligence & Forecasting
- Monitor key markets where Dubai Chambers operates (40+ international offices).
- Provide insights on investment opportunities, trade corridors, and emerging sectors.
- Support forecasting exercises and scenario planning.
Executive Support & Reporting
- Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and briefing notes directly for Senior Management.
- Support Senior Management in strategic meetings, committees, and high-level engagements.
- Translate complex economic data into clear, actionable insights for executive decision-making.
Knowledge Development
- Build internal knowledge on economic trends and best practices.
- Contribute to thought leadership publications and reports issued by Dubai Chambers.
Economic Strategy Integration
- Support the alignment of Dubai Chambers’ initiatives with national economic strategies (e.g., D33, UAE Centennial 2071).
- Ensure economic insights are embedded across sector strategies and international office priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred; PhD is a plus for senior-level positioning).
- 12–15 years of progressive experience in economic advisory, research, or policy roles, with proven exposure to senior leadership / executive-level stakeholders.
- Experience within government entities, international organizations, consulting firms, or leading think tanks is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the UAE economic landscape, global macroeconomic trends, and international trade dynamics.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting strategic decision-making at executive or board level.
- Proven track record in developing economic insights, policy recommendations, and high-impact reports.
