Strategic and Business Development Responsibilities
- Elaborate the vision at the Division level and set up the yearly strategic plan and budgets aligned with the Brand’s vision and mission.
- Develop the annual online brand P&L budget and formulate the commercial/trading plan in collaboration with regional teams.
- Conduct strategic meetings with suppliers and regional teams to negotiate commercial conditions such as margins, animations, and exclusivity.
- Lead business development and relationship management efforts in wholesale, including implementing new business strategies and partnerships to expand the Brand's online reach.
- Create new business strategies, tactical plans, and detailed business cases to optimize resource investments.
- Ensure profitability by understanding and managing key cost drivers from the P&L.
- Manage and develop key e-commerce wholesale accounts.
- Oversee the development and management of the marketplace business across the GCC with strategic partners like Farfetch.
Operational and Content Management
- Review all web content collaboratively with the Ralph Lauren Ecom team before upload.
- Analyze trade performance with the Ralph Lauren team and identify solutions to optimize trade and performance.
- Manage seasonal buying strategy and local assortment implementation.
- Review merchandise stock levels weekly to ensure stock optimization and coordinate stock movements or reordering as needed.
- Monitor weekly sales performance to stay on track with targets.
Logistics and Customer Service
- Coordinate regularly with the local fulfillment center to optimize fulfillment operations and performance.
- Ensure smooth operations between local courier services and the warehouse, coordinating necessary actions.
- Negotiate and establish the best commercial terms to maximize profits.
- Coordinate with the Ralph Lauren team and local contact center to maintain high customer service standards.
- Work with Ralph Lauren and local translation agencies to review and submit local content timely.
