Job Description: NCH is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven E-commerce Manager to lead its growing online business across the UAE. This is a high-impact leadership role with full P&L ownership across nutraceuticals, functional foods and personal care categories. You will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships, owning joint business planning, expanding category reach across e-commerce and q-commerce platforms and setting the commercial roadmap for profitable growth.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience managing Amazon 1P accounts (with a strong understanding of both 1P and 3P business models), excels in digital retail strategy, and leads with strong ownership and data-backed decision-making. You will also manage a growing team and work cross-functionally to ensure executional excellence and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Business Ownership
- Lead the e-commerce business unit as a full P&L owner, driving top-line growth and bottom-line optimization.
- Set and drive the overall strategy for the e-commerce department, aligned with business objectives.
- Manage and develop a high-performing team by defining team KPIs, track performance and provide leadership and mentorship to ensure delivery against goals.
- Act as the key point of contact for all strategic e-commerce and q-commerce platform partners.
- Engage with principals and brand owners to align on e-commerce strategy and execution by brand.
Partner Management & Joint Business Planning
- Lead annual joint business planning and quarterly business review discussions with Amazon, Noon, and other platforms.
- Strengthen relationships with platform account managers, marketing teams, and supply chain leads to secure visibility, support, and investment.
- Define, track, and optimize KPIs for each platform partner.
- Monitor and negotiate commercial terms, pricing, rebates, and trade funding plans to maximize profitability.
Platform Strategy & Channel Expansion
- Own commercial performance across all e-commerce (Amazon, Noon, Mumzworld, etc) and q-commerce platforms (e.g., Talabat, InstaShop, etc).
- Evaluate and identify opportunities to expand product listings, enter new categories, and onboard emerging platforms.
- Work with internal teams to ensure content accuracy, campaign readiness, pricing strategy and inventory availability per platform.
- Stay ahead of digital and category-specific trends in nutraceuticals, functional foods and personal care to inform assortment expansion, pricing strategies and content development.
Performance Management & Growth
- Monitor and optimize daily sales performance, operational metrics, and platform health indicators.
- Analyze profitability, pricing, trade spend, and marketing ROI to identify opportunities for margin improvement.
- Lead advertising strategy and execution across Amazon and Noon, ensuring maximum return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Oversee digital shelf optimization—titles, images, reviews, and search rank—to improve discoverability and conversion.
Campaign Ownership & Analysis
- Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and analysis of Tier 1 and priority campaigns across platforms.
- Conduct pre-campaign feasibility and post-campaign performance reviews for internal approvals and learning cycles.
- Use data and insights to continuously refine campaign strategy, targeting, and spend allocation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Ensure proactive inventory planning for e-commerce channels in close collaboration with the supply chain and brand managers to avoid out-of-stock scenarios and overstocking.
- Collaborate closely with supply chain, finance, regulatory, and marketing to ensure commercial readiness and compliance.
- Work with digital and brand teams to align on platform-specific campaigns, new product launches, and seasonal pushes.
- Coordinate with IT and operations on technology enablement and integrations that drive efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- 8+ years of e-commerce experience, with direct Amazon 1P account management experience and clear understanding of 3P business models.
- Demonstrated success in owning and optimizing an e-commerce P&L.
- Deep knowledge of UAE e-commerce and q-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Noon, Talabat, InstaShop).
- Proficient in analytics tools (Amazon Vendor Central, Noon Seller Hub, GA4), pricing strategy, and promotional mechanics.
- Experience in leading joint business planning, managing trading terms, and driving partner engagement.
- Strong grasp of digital advertising performance metrics and campaign ROI optimization.
