Job description

Position: Ecommerce Head, GCC

Department: International Business Division (IBD)

Location: Dubai

Reports to: Growth Head, IBD

ROLE OBJECTIVE

Lead Ecomm business, growth initiatives and own up Ecomm topline and bottomline metrics across existing brands and new growth initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Be the expert on all e-accounts across GCC (Amazon, Noon, Instashop etc) by building a formidable relationship to drive agreed business growth and turnover.
  2. Be responsible for end to end E-comm monthly sales operations cycle including sales, shipments, payments, initiatives execution etc.
  3. Be responsible for market development and scope out opportunities for growth and key initiatives to leverage category growth and market share.
  4. Innovate and activate key launches, campaigns and collaborations with marketing for impactful brand presence leading to business.
  5. Ensure right presence on brands across top SKUs to ensure discoverability, build customer experience through brand pages under eTailers and product page details and compelling reasons to drive purchase.
  6. Conduct market intelligence and competitive landscape mapping.
  7. Innovate presence and utility of tech and digital where relevant.
  8. Investigate/manage potential DTC opportunities.
  9. Analyze partners/explore new partners in terms of development potential, profitability, sales revenues and develop and implement the necessary plans of action.
  10. Build a sustainable relationship with existing accounts, answering day-to-day client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Analyze the results of the sales in depth to jointly develop new ways to optimize the performance of the accounts.
  12. Gather cross-functional inputs in order to determine company-wide opportunities.
  13. Support the development of e-commerce and cross-channel strategies.

Key Deliverables

  1. Budgeting, planning, delivery of all GCC Ecomm business, P&L metrics as proposed, budgeted and aligned.
  2. Online presence for all shortlisted SKUs - availability and right presence.

Desired Skills, Profile

  1. Total experience of min 7-10 years in CPG, FMCG in Sales, Marketing, Ecomm.
  2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce and business development in GCC markets.
