What you'll do

You will be responsible for maintaining refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, performing repairs, routine, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation. Your duties include monitoring and controlling property temperature and air quality, assembling, installing, testing, repairing, and maintaining piping, electrical systems, and electronic fittings to ensure guest satisfaction. You will diagnose malfunctioning HVAC-R systems using test equipment and hand tools, and maintain a clean and orderly engineering area.

What you'll bring

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Technical Trade Course Certificate in Electronic/Electrical/Mechanics/HVAC-R or related field
• Technical training in HVAC-R, Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing
• Minimum 4 years experience in facility management, with at least 1 year in an international 5-star hotel environment
• At least 2 years hands-on experience as an AC Technician or similar role; pre-opening experience is a plus
• Skill in equipment maintenance, performing routine maintenance on MEP systems and equipment
• Knowledge of building materials, methods, and tools involved in construction or repair
• Experience repairing HVAC-R systems using appropriate tools
• Ability to read technical drawings related to building, air-conditioning, refrigeration, and electrical systems
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Excellent communication skills with a customer service focus
