Job description

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and equity statements. Coordinate the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including management, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
  2. Analysis and Insights: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs) that impact the organization's financial health. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and reporting. Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  3. Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies. Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures to enhance the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting. Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting, treasury, and operations, to gather relevant financial data and ensure accurate reporting. Communicate financial results and insights to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Prepare presentations for senior management and the board of directors, summarizing financial performance and key findings.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting and analysis, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Additional Requirements: 6 years of working experience in the UAE, with appropriate familiarity with the UAE market and regulations. Proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems.
