ABOUT US

The Arts Club Dubai is perfectly located in the heart of the DIFC, set over four floors and totaling 65,000 square feet, in the brand-new ICD Brookfield Place development designed by Foster + Partners.

It is the first international outpost of the celebrated and historical private members’ club, established in 1863 in Mayfair, London. WHAT WILL YOU DO

Your main duties and responsibilities are :

  1. Prepare and cook dishes delegated as your responsibility by the Chef in charge.
  2. Take tasks and requests from the Chef in charge and carry them out in a correct manner.
  3. Ensure that the specification of portion size and quantity of particular dishes has been followed, as set out in the recipe index.
  4. Complete the daily checklist received from the Chef in charge regarding mise-en-place and food storage.
  5. Report any failure of kitchen equipment, and follow up to ensure the necessary maintenance work has been carried out.
  6. Keep the section clean and tidy at all times, and make sure all items are labelled with dates.
  7. Help to prevent waste of food and over-production in mise-en-place, and keep food order from the store or supplies to a minimum.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills :

  1. Minimum 1 year experience in the same or a similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants.
  2. Good level of English.
  3. Strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility.
  4. Excellent communication and listening skills.
  5. Ability to work long shifts and stand for extended periods.
