Job Description

The opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will plan and execute the HUB sales strategy in alignment with global objectives.

How you'll make an impact
  1. Set sales targets for the HUB and communicate them to the team.
  2. Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  3. Prepare and deliver performance reports to senior management.
  4. Identify growth opportunities among existing customers.
  5. Research potential new customers to expand market reach.
  6. Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in customer organizations.
  7. Facilitate effective communication between the supply, sales team, and customers.
  8. Allocate resources for effective opportunity management.
  9. Manage the receipt and distribution of requests for quotations.
  10. Establish optimal pricing strategies to achieve targeted margins in coordination with WCFE and Supply.
  11. Participate in negotiations for key contracts with customers.
  12. Negotiate and finalize contracts and purchase orders with customers.
  13. Coordinate with internal stakeholders during contract finalization.
  14. Monitor ongoing costs related to sales activities.
  15. Assess customer financial health to identify potential risks.
  16. Report financial risks to internal teams promptly.
  17. Prepare and coordinate technical and commercial offers for customers.
  18. Submit offers for approval according to organizational protocols.
  19. Own the sales process and ensure adherence to established procedures.
  20. Oversee training and development initiatives for the sales team.
  21. Manage the transition of contracts to project management teams.
  22. Update Salesforce with order information and competitive intelligence.

Your background
  1. Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management or business development in the energy industry.
  3. Demonstrated expertise in executing impactful sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives and promoting long-term growth.
  4. Advanced proficiency in managing multiple sales projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and delivery.
  5. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers, stakeholders, and team members.
  6. Ability to inspire and guide sales teams towards targets, fostering collaboration and positivity.
  7. Willingness to travel and engage with stakeholders, attend industry events, and support regional initiatives.
  8. Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
