Position Purpose

We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in the UAE. The Producer is an excellent project manager, able to scope, budget, schedule, track jobs from inception to delivery. The Project Manager will manage large projects leading creative and technical teams and being a trusted advisor to the client.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead creative efforts from concept to delivery.
2. In-depth knowledge of project process to be able to develop project strategies, scopes, and schedules.
3. Able to use/learn proprietary budget accounting systems.
4. Able to use/learn scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Gantter, or Merlin.
5. Able to use/learn Google Suite, particularly Sheets and Documents.
6. Able to create basic spreadsheet calculations.
7. In-depth knowledge of project process to help develop vendor RFPs, respond to RFIs, write contract scopes, and evaluate bids.
8. Strong negotiator with the ability to manage third-party vendors.
9. Must be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
10. Possess a great attitude and demonstrate a perpetual willingness to jump in and assist where required.
11. Work in a team environment, being trustworthy, open, and collaborative.
12. Passion and strong drive to constantly learn, innovate, and help the company grow.
13. Well-developed design and production management portfolio.
14. Knowledge of design management, work planning, budgeting, scheduling, bid package preparation, and a variety of vendors.
15. Experience in managing location-based entertainment technologies such as ride, audio, video, projection, show control, animatronics, etc.
16. Knowledge in location-based entertainment related architectural, project management, organizational, and production, fabrication, and construction practices.
17. Experience in related fields, such as live entertainment and event production and operation, is beneficial.
18. Possesses solid aesthetic sensibilities and storytelling skills to support the creative process and to facilitate positive and productive communication between all disciplines.
19. Able to form close working partnerships with clients in order to understand the requirements, brand, and IP.
20. High level of professionalism.
21. Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain an objective attitude toward problem solving in difficult and/or complex situations.

Qualifications:

1. Exemplary communication skills.
2. 3-5 years of previous experience at this level of responsibility.
3. Construction Experience.
4. Minimum 3 years of client management experience in successfully delivering production solutions, preferably in a global client-service organisation.
5. Degree in Architecture, Business Administration, Theatrical Management, or a related field.
6. Experience working with budgets from $500K-$1M.
