Job description

Ensure staff work together as a team to provide optimal service and meet guest needs. Inspect grooming and attire of staff, and rectify any deficiencies. Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing premises. Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO use, and cleanliness. Conduct scheduled inventories and requisition supplies. Monitor dining rooms for seating, service, safety, and guest well-being. Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.

Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment / Open Door Policy. Follow all safety, security, and company policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications. Maintain a professional appearance, confidentiality, and protect company assets. Greet and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address needs, assist guests with disabilities, and thank them sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally. Develop positive relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns. Ensure compliance with quality standards and seek ways to improve efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost-savings. Read and verify information visually; inspect tools and equipment for defects. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; lift objects up to 50 pounds; perform fine motor tasks; navigate narrow or elevated spaces; move up/down stairs or ramps; reach overhead and below knees, including bending and twisting. Perform other duties as requested.
