Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Specialist to support our HR Operations in the UAE and KSA, reporting to the Senior Manager HR MEA. The candidate will ensure smooth delivery of HR services, focusing on HR systems management, payroll, recruitment, employee engagement, and compliance with local labor laws. This role is vital in fostering a positive employee experience and maintaining operational HR excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  1. HR Operations & Systems:
  • Maintain and update HR systems and personnel records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with UAE and KSA labor laws.
  • Administer HRIS functions and generate reports and HR metrics as needed.
  • Oversee the full HR administration lifecycle—from offer letter to onboarding, including contracts, employee letters, verification, and background checks.
  • Support review, update, and implementation of HR policies and employee handbook per local laws and standards.
  • Coordinate benefits administration, liaising with insurance providers.
  • Assist with HR meetings and exit interviews.
  • Payroll & Compensation:
    • Collect and verify payroll inputs, liaising with external vendors.
    • Track allowances, deductions, and payroll components.
    • Support accurate payroll processing and documentation.
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
    • Coordinate recruitment activities, including liaising with agencies, screening, scheduling interviews, and leveraging ATS platforms.
    • Manage employee referral programs and onboarding activities such as inductions and training.
  • Employee Engagement & Communication:
    • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, partnering with vendors for event delivery.
    • Draft and publish HR communications via newsletters and intranet.
    • Serve as a point of contact for HR queries, ensuring high service standards.
    Qualifications & Skills
    • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
    • At least 5 years of HR experience, preferably in IT sector.
    • Deep understanding of UAE and KSA labor laws; HR certification is a plus.
    • Experience managing HR systems and ATS platforms (e.g., iCIMS).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
    • Excellent communication skills in English.
    • High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
    • Based in Dubai, UAE.
