Job description

Job Purpose

To lead and oversee the company's sales operations in the bottled water sector. The role is responsible for developing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, managing the sales team, and ensuring exceptional customer engagement across both B2B and B2C channels.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies aligned with company objectives and market trends.
  • Team Management: Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team (including Route Sales Representatives) by setting clear targets and ensuring optimal team performance.
  • Client Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and corporate accounts to drive customer loyalty.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various sectors, including retail, hospitality, and government.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze daily/weekly/monthly sales activities and KPIs, generating actionable insights and reports.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with logistics, production, and customer service departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
  • Training & Development: Conduct regular training and grooming sessions for the field team to uphold brand standards and professionalism.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the FMCG, bottled water, or beverage industry
  • At least 2 years in a managerial or team leadership role

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • MBA is preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience with CRM tools and MS Office applications
  • Strategic thinker with robust analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
  • Deep understanding of B2B and B2C field sales operations
