Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that all products comply with company standards and regulatory requirements for quality and safety. Responsibilities include inspecting raw materials, components, and finished products, identifying any defects or deviations, and documenting inspection findings thoroughly. The ideal candidate possesses sharp attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a solid grasp of quality control tools and procedures.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitor quality control activities across all stages, including inspections of incoming materials, in-process items, and finished goods.
- Ensure all processes comply with technical specifications, company policies, and established procedures.
- Maintain calibration schedules and accuracy for all inspection tools and instruments.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the project quality management system and propose enhancements.
- Participate in client quality management meetings as required.
- Review and verify contractor quality requirements and documentation submissions.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and manage documentation related to the project quality management system.
- Track, investigate, and report nonconformance issues and customer complaints.
- Manage and archive project documentation upon completion.
- Ensure daily operations align with company policies and standard operating procedures.
- Identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement within QHSE and Technical Support processes.
- Promote company-wide adherence to quality, health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Report nonconformities (NCRs), corrective actions (CARs), and observations to prevent future risks.
- Stay informed on relevant legislative changes and ensure timely updates to company policies and procedures.
QHSE Responsibilities:
- Understand and comply with all applicable QHSE standards and regulations related to assigned duties, and seek guidance from a supervisor when clarification is needed.
- Actively participate in all HSSE meetings, engage in discussions on health, safety, and environmental issues, and ensure effective communication throughout the team.
- Take proactive steps to address unsafe or hazardous conditions; if the issue cannot be resolved, promptly report it to a supervisor.
- Respond promptly to recommendations provided by HSE officers or coordinators as outlined in their observation reports.
- Maintain detailed written records of incidents and ensure all new employees are directed to the HSE Officer for QHSSE induction.
- Be familiar with the location and proper use of emergency equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), and spill response tools.
- Observe the activities of coworkersparticularly new or inexperienced staffto help ensure they do not pose a risk to themselves or others.
- Actively participate in HSE meetings as required.

Requirements
Job-Specific Education & Certification:
- Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (required)
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (preferred)
Certifications

Job-Specific Competencies:
- Execute QA/QC activities, including those related to subcontractor work, in accordance with approved Quality Control Plans (QCP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), procedures, method statements, and contract requirements.
- Prepare and sign off on quality records related to inspections, surveillance, and testing activities.
- Maintain up-to-date records for the calibration, inspection, and testing of equipment.
- Ensure the correct and current versions of work documentssuch as AFC drawings, specifications, and applicable codes and standardsare available at the worksite.
- Witness procedures and tests, and certify results as per project requirements.
- Provide timely and detailed feedback to the Quality Manager/Engineer on daily quality-related matters
Skills:
- Proficient in interpreting electrical drawings and technical manuals
- Knowledgeable in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Experienced in managing RFIs and quality closeout processes
- Capable of coordinating inspections and managing schedules
- Skilled in computer-based reporting and documentation
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years experience as inspection personnel on Oil & Gas projects, with at least 5 years in onshore gas facilitiespreferably within the LNG sector.
- Proven experience in inspection activities across all project phases, including procurement, fabrication, installation, hook-up, and commissioning of oil and gas production facilities.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in onshore/offshore facilities and plant shutdowns
