Primary Duties
  1. Develop & update various project monitoring packages such as level 3 schedules, progress measurement systems, project reporting systems, and invoicing systems.
  2. Assimilate scope of work and conceive the project in terms of schedule.
  3. Assist engineering & procurement disciplines in preparing micro schedules for technical document register deliverables & procurement tracking register milestones, and provide input as required.
  4. Prepare the construction activities schedule in consultation with the construction team.
  5. Timely issue of quality project planning deliverables & progress reports.
  6. Monitor work in progress against approved schedules/milestones and prepare weekly/monthly progress reports.
  7. Review proposals from subcontractors on project execution and schedule.
  8. Keep PCM & Lead planning engineer informed of status/constraints.
  9. Responsible for preparation and updating the commodity release plan/curve.
  10. Identify and communicate potential schedule constraints to the proposal team.
  11. Analyze and communicate any major variance between actual work in progress and approved schedules to the Lead project control engineer/Project Manager.
  12. Post-award, review the contract for schedule and commercial parameters to validate/compare with original submitted documents.
  13. Participate in department development activities for continual improvement in the project control system & services.
  14. Assist Sr Planning engineer in schedule assurance and risk analysis process.
  15. Perform any other duties as directed by the HOD.
Minimum Requirements
  • Graduate Engineer with 6-7 years of experience, preferably in project controls.
  • Knowledge of Primavera, engineering deliverable monitoring, and procurement activities progress monitoring.
