Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Leadership:
- Help shape and implement our global HSE strategy, focusing on risk reduction and zero serious injuries/fatalities (SIF).
- Serve as the primary HSE leader when the Group VP is unavailable.
- Lead HSE audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews—identifying gaps and recommending solutions.
- Investigate serious incidents, find root causes, and implement preventive actions.
Risk Management & Compliance:
- Advise business units on best practices, safety standards, and risk controls.
- Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement through training, behavioral safety programs, and best practices.
Projects & Collaboration:
- Manage HSE projects from start to finish—on time and within budget.
- Partner with internal teams (operations, HR, leadership) and external agencies (regulators, industry groups).
- Analyze incident trends, prepare reports, and share lessons learned across the business.
- Help develop and roll out HSE training programs to build a stronger safety culture.
Basic Qualifications:
- Education: Degree or diploma in HSE, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 8+ years in HSE, with 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
- 5+ years in heavy industries (ports, logistics, manufacturing, or similar).
- Proven track record in incident investigations, risk management, and training.
- Experience in Global organizations.
- Industry experience in Port & terminal Industry is preferred but other industries are also acceptable.
