What you’ll do:
- Build, develop, and implement Modern Trade channel strategy to drive sustainable, profitable growth for both company and the customers.
- Lead negotiation of trade terms and achieve ´win-win´ joint business plans with key accounts.
- Establish Joint Value Creation (JVC) concept within MT & Develop that capability within Sales Team.
- Regular and systematic customer visits according to work plan and customer coverage to identify areas of improvement and collecting and updating information about competitors’ activities.
- Use customer and Modern Trade knowledge for opportunity identification and value creation, looking for new business or route to consumer improvements in the channel.
- Lead the annual contract negotiations with Top customers and own the Top-to-Top relationship.
- Lead and coordinate development of category / channel / customer insights through dedicated research.
- Ensure highest standards of Customer Service to deliver category objectives.
- Ensure dedicated Customer investment budgets are agreed and signed off with categories.
- Measure and review channel & Customer performance. Identify and monitor channel margins and customer profitability.
- Coach and develop the KA executives across market.
- Prepare reports of sales metrics over a specified period – monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
What you’ll need:
- 4-6 years of experience in Modern Trade - Key Account Management
- Strong strategic customer / channel / business acumen.
- Excellent leadership, customer, and people management.
- Ability to develop category / channel / customer strategies into winning operational plans.
- Cross functional MT Customer Management capability.
- Budget management and P&L responsibility.
