Job Description

  • Manage financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all transactions related to store inventory and accounting.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, to inform decision-making.
  • Oversee stock levels, conducting regular audits to prevent discrepancies and ensure optimal inventory management.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate prices and maintain positive relationships for supply chain efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain accounting systems and controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts promptly, ensuring smooth financial operations within the store.
  • Conduct periodic inventory reconciliations, identifying and resolving issues promptly to maintain financial integrity.
  • Develop and maintain filing systems for both accounting and inventory records, ensuring easy retrieval and confidentiality.
  • Train and supervise junior staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring, analyzing variances to facilitate effective financial planning.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; certifications like CPA or CMA are preferred.
