Job description

Al Marwan Group, a leading hospitality provider in Sharjah, is seeking an experienced and highly motivatedHousekeeping Supervisorto join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the hotel industry, specifically in housekeeping operations, and a strong educational background in hospitality or a related field. As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient and effective performance of duties.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure adherence to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Manage and assign daily tasks to housekeeping team members, ensuring all rooms and areas are cleaned and maintained according to company standards.
  • Monitor and ensure proper stock levels of cleaning supplies and linens, and coordinate with the procurement team for replenishments.
  • Train, motivate, and evaluate housekeeping staff, ensuring continuous development and improvement.
  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and special requirements, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests and communicate with the maintenance department to ensure all issues are promptly addressed.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with hotel and local regulations.
  • Assist in creating work schedules and manage departmental budgets efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments (front desk, maintenance, etc.) to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experiences.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental and sustainability initiatives within the housekeeping operations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the hotel industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role in housekeeping.
  • Education: Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
