Responsibilities:
- Develop business across a spectrum of enterprise-level customers.
- Generate revenue and collaborate with Channel Partners to sell the VAST Data offering effectively.
- Manage the sales process aligned with customer buying cycles.
- Build and maintain customer relationships from initial contact through proof of concept and post-sale to foster expansion opportunities.
- Develop and present proposals demonstrating how VAST solutions meet business objectives and justify the sale.
- Identify, penetrate large accounts, engage decision-makers, and close deals.
- Maintain a consistent track record of exceeding quotas and generating referenceable business with enterprise clients.
- Build and develop selling regions independently, often with limited resources.
- Focus on account expansion strategies and emphasize post-sales customer success.
- Exhibit excellent time management and communication skills.
- Drive change and promote new technologies in a way that resonates with customers.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 7 years of direct enterprise sales experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with experience in both large companies and startups.
- Capability to communicate effectively with customers and partners at both business and technical levels.
- Knowledge of the storage industry, specifically NFS, Object Storage, and Enterprise Computing architectures.
- Competitive attitude and strong work ethic, with enthusiasm to represent the company.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office.
