Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations and ensure the integrity of accounting information. This role involves managing financial records, reconciling account balances, preparing month-end closings, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger operations.
2. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
3. Maintain and analyze balance sheet and profit/loss statements.
4. Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
5. Coordinate with external auditors and assist with audit processes.
6. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
7. Assist with the development and implementation of internal controls and financial policies.
8. Provide financial analysis and reporting to management.
9. Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and accruals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
