Job Overview
The Chief Engineer Rail Network Inspection will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive inspection programs that ensure the integrity and safety of RTA's railway infrastructure. The role includes handling emergency situations, delivering technical training, and driving innovation in inspection and maintenance practices.
Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and manage rail network inspection programs in accordance with international safety standards
2. Conduct regular inspections and assessments of railway infrastructure within the Railway Protection Zone
3. Coordinate emergency responses and implement corrective actions to resolve urgent issues
4. Deliver technical training sessions for inspection teams and stakeholders
5. Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and internal safety protocols
6. Introduce modern inspection technologies and methods to enhance operational efficiency
7. Collaborate with internal departments, contractors, and external stakeholders to maintain railway safety
8. Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed reports on infrastructure conditions
9. Recommend strategic improvements for preventive maintenance and safety enhancement
10. Support project management activities related to rail network development and upgrades

Required Skills and Experience

1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related disciplines)
2. Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in railway infrastructure inspection, maintenance, or project management
