Role Summary
We're looking for an Associate Quality Assurance to join the team and focus on inspecting Fresh Produce in our own grocery store, tMart, which is the region's first cloud store concept offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman, and Iraq!

What's On Your Plate

1. Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the Fresh Produce Products.
2. Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications, etc.).
3. Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to perform accurate measurements.
4. Analyze test results and inspection data to identify any deviations or nonconformities.
5. Report inspection findings to address quality issues and corrective actions.
6. Follow established quality assurance procedures and protocols.
7. Build and maintain secure relationships with store employees and managers.

What Did We Order

1. Proven experience as a quality inspector or relevant role in the Fresh Produce Industry (Retail or Distribution).
2. Knowledge of produce quality inspection techniques and procedures.
3. Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
4. Understanding of QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) principles.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing inspections.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
7. Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
8. Ability to make appropriate decisions, work independently, and communicate clearly and effectively.
9. Fluent in English and Arabic.
