Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in automobile logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of global vehicle shipping procedures and customs clearance.
• Fluent in English; Arabic or other language skills are advantageous.

Job Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Automobile Shipping Expert to manage end-to-end logistics for vehicle transportation across international and regional routes. Based in the UAE, this role involves coordinating shipping operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and delivering exceptional service to clients in the automotive trade.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee the shipment process for automobiles via sea, air, and land freight
2. Coordinate with shipping lines, port authorities, customs agents, and freight forwarders
3. Handle import/export documentation, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin
4. Ensure vehicles meet all regulatory requirements for customs clearance and destination country compliance
5. Monitor and track shipments, providing timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders
6. Advise clients on cost-effective and time-efficient shipping solutions
7. Maintain accurate records of shipments, payments, and client communications
8. Resolve logistical issues, damages, or delays efficiently and professionally
9. Stay updated on international shipping laws, UAE customs regulations, and port procedures
10. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and transportation partners

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field
2. 3–5 years of experience in automobile logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding
3. Strong knowledge of global vehicle shipping procedures, port operations, and customs clearance
4. Familiarity with UAE and GCC regulations for vehicle import/export
5. Proficiency in shipping documentation and INCOTERMS
6. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
7. Strong communication and client service orientation
8. Proficient in MS Office; experience with logistics and shipping software is a plus
9. Fluent in English; Arabic or other language skills are advantageous
10. UAE experience highly preferred
