Your new role, what's involved?

• Plan, supervise, and interpret geotechnical site investigations for marine and coastal structures.
• Evaluate geotechnical parameters for foundation design, dredging, reclamation, and offshore construction.
• Design and analyze pile foundations, caissons, quay walls, breakwaters, revetments, and offshore structures.
• Assess settlement, bearing capacity, and slope stability for marine infrastructure.
• Evaluate the impact of cyclic and dynamic loading on marine foundations.
• Conduct geotechnical risk assessments for marine construction activities.
• Provide geotechnical recommendations for dredging, excavation, and reclamation works.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction codes, AD Ports Authority, and Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) geotechnical guidelines.
• Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, feasibility studies, and design justifications for client and regulatory approvals.
• Review and approve geotechnical submissions from contractors and consultants.
• Collaborate with structural, marine, and civil engineers to integrate geotechnical solutions into project designs.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site teams on geotechnical aspects.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth execution of geotechnical works.

We'd love to hear from you if you have :

• Minimum 10+ years in geotechnical engineering, with 5+ years in maritime / coastal projects.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering.
• Expertise in offshore geotechnics, foundation engineering, and marine geohazards.
• Professional accreditation (e.g., PE, CEng, or PMP) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
