About the Role

The Procurement Officer will support procurement processes and accounts payable, maintain supplier records, assist in supplier sourcing, and handle purchase requisitions, RFQs, and purchase orders.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily procurement activities in accordance with procurement policies.
  • Source suppliers locally and online.
  • Handle RFQ and RFP processes for purchase requests.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for purchasing requests.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Organize procurement documents systematically.
  • Negotiate with vendors to finalize purchase orders.
  • Create purchase orders, manage supplier registration, and prepare goods receipt notes in Oracle.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Work closely with accounts payable to ensure timely invoice processing.
  • Track advance payments to suppliers and update AP staff.
  • Maintain records of capital expenditure commitments.
  • Close purchase orders promptly.
  • Assist the Finance team with month-end reporting and provide ad-hoc reports as needed.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.

Experience

At least 3 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in a large or complex organization. Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP is highly desirable.
